Description

This target always fascinated me because of its unike form prodtruding from its background. Its almost like a waterdrop beeing spit out from the calm see of hydrogen gas. LBN 576 is a supernova remenant in the constellation of Cassiopaia and it really is extremely dim! In the single sub frames of 600 s it was barely visible without moon in the sky and nearly invisible with moon lightening up the background. Even with the huge amount of nearly 50 h of exposure time it was not an easy edit for finding the balance of details, contrast, noise and color was quite challanging. I hope the sight is enjoyable!
